Pot roast in sweet and sour sauce
Dear cooks, put on Your court recipe from the family program. On my website a kind of anniversary. This is my 50th recipe. The meat turns out very tasty, flavorful, rich sweet and sour sauce. Prepared quickly, the result is pleasing.

Ingredients

  • Meat

    1.3 kg

  • Tomato

    1 kg

  • Onion

    2 piece

  • Soy sauce

    50 ml

  • Honey

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Paprika sweet

    2 tsp

  • Red sweet pepper

    1 tsp

  • Dried tomatoes

    1 tsp

  • Peppers red hot chilli

    0.2 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

Cooking

Veal or pork to cut, to separate from the bones, bandages, lived. Can cut portions (up to 1 cm) or, like me, julienne. The meat should be good (neck, loin, escalope, shoulder). Sets for suppression of "Magnets", etc. here, alas, will not work.

Put sliced meat on a heated and oiled pan. To salt, pepper is not necessary. Fire maximum. Give to form a crispy crust at the bottom and flip. Better to do it in chunks. If you cut the meat portions, then fry kindly portioned in a single layer.

Onion cut into half rings, fry until transparent state in another pan. I fried all at the same time.

If we cook tomatoes, they need to be peeled and chop into a puree. I cut in half and rubbed on a grater. The skin remains in your hand. Combine in frying pan with wide sides of meat with onions, add grated tomatoes or tomato juice, soy sauce, honey - 1 tbsp. spoon. I have tomatoes, alas, autumn, pale pink. If You have the same problem - I recommend to add 50 gr. tomato paste, in order to correct the color of gravy.

Boiled, the fire diminish to a minimum and simmer for 40-50 minutes until the meat is cooked under a lid. 10 minutes before ready, pour all the spices, chopped garlic. Taste for salt, sugar, pepper. This is the dish to taste.
