Indian halva
Halva is different, and in India the most popular in the winter, it's a halva of carrots-very fragrant and delicious. Halva is prepared in all restaurants, cafes, sweet shops, and many make it at home. Served certainly hot. I invite you to try it!

Ingredients

  • Milk

    2 l

  • Carrots

    1 kg

  • Sugar

    250 g

  • Nuts

  • Raisins

  • Cardamom

    3 piece

  • Melted butter

    50 g

Peel and grate the carrots.It is easiest to use a mixer, because carrots a lbs.

In a large saucepan bring to boil the milk, add the carrot,make the minimum fire and cook,stirring occasionally.

Grains of cardamon crushed, and add them to the milk with the carrot.

Gradually the mass of the carrot is boiled, and acquire rich color.It takes 2-2.5 hours.

When the fluid will remain low, add in the carrots, the sugar, and fry on a big heat until almost full boiling liquid.A little liquid should remain,so that the halva turned out juicy.In a heavy-bottomed pot heat the ghee(you can substitute butter),and fry the resulting carrot mass.In the end, add nuts and raisins(I added before,they swelled).
