Date cake with honey

Ingredients

  • Honey

    200 g

  • Butter

    110 g

  • Milk

    150 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Flour

    290 g

  • Soda

    1 tsp

  • Cardamom

    0.25 tsp

  • Nutmeg

    0.25 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Cards

    110 g

  • Walnuts

    60 g

Cooking

In a small bowl to combine honey and butter. Put on a small fire and, stirring, heat to dissolve the oil. As soon as the butter has dissolved, immediately remove from heat.

Pour the milk, mix well.

Add eggs, mix well.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, soda and spices - cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg.

Gradually pouring the liquid portion into the dry ingredients, knead the dough (the consistency is like a thick cream).

Add to the dough chopped nuts and 3/4 of the chopped dates.

Cake pan to cover with baking paper, leaving the edges of such a length that after baking you can wrap them in a cupcake. Pour the batter, spread on top the remaining chopped dates. Sent to be baked in a preheated 160 degree oven for 40-45 minutes (readiness check with a wooden skewer).

The finished cake remove from the oven, allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.

Then removed from the mold, cover the top with baking parchment, wrap in plastic wrap and give "ripen" for at least 3-4 hours. I have a cupcake rested night.
