Fried oatmeal Scotch
If your household like for Breakfast porridge with meat, then this recipe is for You. Skirly (Skirlie read as formerly scaleY) - an old Scottish dish of oatmeal, cheap, and tastes very rich and pleasant. If you are tired of the usual side dishes, try to cook Skirly - fried cereal, soaked in oil and the onion spice will give you new taste and variety to your table. Traditional Skirl of oatmeal for gravy from the meat itself, it is a separate dish.

Ingredients

  • Oat flakes

    100 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Butter

    60 g

  • Thyme

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Black pepper

  • Minced meat

    300 g

  • Butter

    15 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Broth

    1 cup

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Black pepper

    0.25 tsp

Cooking

First, prepare the gravy. Onion peel and cut into small cubes. In a pan put butter and fry the onion for 2 minutes.

Add any meat (I have mixed), fry 8 minutes.

Add salt, pepper, beef broth stir and simmer 20 minutes.

Until mince cooked prepare squirly. Onion peel and cut into thin half-rings. In a pan put butter and fry the onions.

Take the "Hercules" from "Mistral".

Put to the onion oatmeal.

Add pepper and thyme.

All mix, sprinkle with salt. Fry, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.

In a bowl put the hot fried oatmeal.
