Wedges of iceberg lettuce with blue cheese
Iceberg lettuce, often neglected due to the lack of pronounced flavor, this recipe will be the perfect crispy base for a spicy filling of cheese with blue mold. Salad is good by itself or as a side dish to meat from the grill, especially with chicken wings.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt

    150 ml

  • Mustard

    1 tsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Shallots

    1 piece

  • Bacon

    50 g

  • Lettuce

    0.5 plug

  • Blue cheese

    100 g

  • Lemon

    0.5 piece

Thinly sliced bacon and fry until crispy and drain on kitchen paper napkins to excess fat absorbed.

For the filling grind in a blender 3/4 of the cheese, yogurt, mustard, juice of half a lemon, peeled a clove of garlic and a small onion, shallots. No salt, no pepper is not required. Should be relatively homogeneous mass. If the dressing is too thick, add a few tablespoons of milk or yogurt.

If the salad served as a side dish to meat, the bacon can not put. For a vegetarian version of bacon you can substitute sun-dried tomatoes.
