Pumpkin pie
I hope this recipe on the site there))) Found it a miracle on one of the sites, the result exceeded my expectations! It is a pity that you cannot participate in the contest, because it's not hot, and sweet dish, but it really creates a mood with its bright red color and amazing aroma!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Sugar

    110 g

  • Pumpkin

    500 g

  • Cognac

    2 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Milk

    4 Tbsp

  • Nutmeg

  • Ginger

    0.25 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Lemon peel

    0.5 piece

Clean the pumpkin from seeds, cut into large slices, place on a baking sheet and bake for hours on low heat (I baked at 100градусах). Then the pumpkin to cool and RUB through a sieve or fine grater to obtain a homogeneous mass. This stock I do the night before.

Sift the flour, mix it with a spoon of sugar, a pinch of salt, softened butter and 1 egg. Knead the dough, make a ball, wrap it in cling film and leave for an hour in the fridge.

Add the nutmeg, ginger (I had fresh, I rubbed it on a fine grater), finely grated lemon zest and cinnamon. All mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass. Separately, whip the whites in a solid foam and gently enter into the prepared weight pumpkin. Weight get liquid, do not let that scare.

Take out the dough from the refrigerator and distribute it on a greased form. The form is better to take detachable, remove more convenient.

From top to pour our stuffing and send in a preheated 220 degree oven for 10 minutes. After diminish the heat to 100 degrees and continue to bake another 30 minutes.
