Honey cookie
Honey cookie "Leckerli" - leckerli - translates as tasty cookies. The dough for "Leckerli" is made from regular flour, and added spices and nuts, dried fruit and candied peel. The surface is ready "Leckerli" is covered with a glaze of Kirsch (cherry vodka, if not improvise - I rum). I added more lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • Honey

    170 g

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Nuts

    0.5 cup

  • Raisins

    0.5 cup

  • Candied

    0.5 cup

  • Spices

    1 tsp

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Vanilla

  • Alcohol

    2 tsp

  • Powdered sugar

    3 Tbsp

Honey should be in liquid consistency, so if you have sugar, then melt it.

Add honey one tablespoon sifted flour mixed with baking powder and pinch of vanilla, and all spice (optional). Stir until smooth.

In the resulting honey dough stir in the dried nuts and soaked and drained raisins. The dough should be thick and not stick to hands.

Lay the dough on the surface of the baking forms - it can be oiled baking sheet, baking paper or a silicone Mat. Spread the dough to a thickness of about 1 cm, first hand, and then align with a rolling pin. Place baking sheet with cookies in the preheated oven to 180 C and bake for about 15 minutes, but no longer, do not tumble dry biscuits. I baked about 12 minutes. It all depends on thickness of biscuits.

While cookies are in the oven, prepare the glaze. For the icing, you need the liquid (I have rum) and mix with powdered sugar, adding it in small portions, until a thick mass. For a little flavor I added lemon juice (1-2 tbsp), but it is optional.

Get zarumyanivaniya, but not parched cookies "Leckerli" and apply to the surface of the hot pastry icing, then cut into serving-size squares or rectangles. I cut with a hot knife.
