Cooking
Pumpkin peel and pulp, cut into small pieces (about 1x2 cm.). In a large saucepan, cook the syrup of sugar and water. In sugar syrup add the pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves. From the orange and squeeze the juice along with zest as well to add to the syrup. Bring to boil, cook for 5 minutes, remove the pan from the heat, cool to room temperature.
This procedure is repeated 3 more times — bring to boil, cook for 5 minutes, remove from heat, cool
Then place the pumpkin slices on baking paper and dry in oven at 50 degrees with the fan.
My oven heats to a minimum of 160 degrees, so dried at room temperature for 3 days.
Ready candied roll in powdered sugar. Store in a closed glass container at room temperature.
