Aromatic plum jam with an Oriental touch

Remove the seeds of plums and put the halves of fruit in a deep form. Cover with sugar and add spices (cloves and anise in marlechku or in a strainer).

Let stand for an hour or two to start to separate the juice. Preheat the oven to 150C. Cook and stirring occasionally, simmer the fruit half an hour, until syrup has thickened. Transfer to sterilized jars.
