Description

Citrus curd in the microwave
Delicate, with a light, pleasant bitterness, playing in the sun, Golden sparks, melting in the mouth and delicious smelling New year!! These I sing praises in honor of the wonderful citrus taste of Turkey, which I came across on the Internet as "a very quick recipe in the microwave". But in practice (as often happens in life) was not so quick. But it is truly magical taste atoned for ALL! I want to dedicate my first recipe in this wonderful contest, my dear friend Lena (Mrs. Lena). And you, dear cooks, - have a treat and enjoy interesting and unusual taste!

Ingredients

  • Lime

    4 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Brown sugar

    200 g

  • Butter

    70 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

Cooking

step-0
Prepare the required products. Wash the limes and lemon. Weigh 200g of cane sugar TM "Mistral", because it will give a soft caramel touch our Kurd!
step-1
Melt 70g of butter in the microwave and put on 20-30 seconds. at full power (or on the stove as you prefer).
step-2
Clean zest with lime. Better to do it small float, but we are not looking for easy ways, so I took off the zest with a peeler and then a knife for a long time crushed her.
step-3
Squeeze the juice of lime and lemon. So here I suffer!!! Very stubborn was the citrus fruits, and did not want to give me your juice. Had in hot water them down for a while, but not I remembered from this trick. Finally juice gained the necessary half a Cup
step-4
In a bowl, handy for whipping, beat the eggs, add our brown sugar, and whisk until it has dissolved (3-4 minutes). To add to the same squeezed juice, crushed zest and melted butter. Blend again. Long.
step-5
Pour the mixture in a bowl without a lid, suitable for microwave oven and enable for 7-10 minutes at full power, stopping the oven every 1-2 min., stirring. You need to CAREFULLY!! to monitor the process, not very far, so it doesn't run away from ware. And to do this as long as our mixture starts to thicken, and to acquire a creamy consistency.
step-6
Remove from microwave, drain through a sieve, if you want to get rid of the peel, and to shift our citrus curd in a clean jar. After cooling to send it in refrigerator for some time (occasionally you can get into the jar and take a sample :-))). Don't be afraid if a Kurd will seem watery, after the fridge it will be the right consistency.
