Cooking
Cut onion into cubes.
With orange remove the peel.
Clean it and cut into cubes.
If there is no chard, do not worry, this salad is ideal for sheets of plain beets. Petioles are cut into dice, and the leaves are wide stripes.
In a pan pour oil and heat it.
Fry the onion until Golden, 3-5 minutes.
Add the orange slices, zest and sugar. Low down the heat and simmer stirring occasionally for 10 minutes until lightly caramelized orange. Add the balsamic vinegar.
Add the stalks and cook for 3-5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Next add the leaves. Stir, keep on fire for 1 to 2 minutes, turn off heat, cover with a lid and leave it well for 3-4 minutes to soften the leaves.
