Description
Discussed the days of old things and found among them a great cookbook that I once 7 years ago brought from Russia. Wanted to throw out, but why I decided to open spontaneously some recipe and finally found!!!) More precisely, it found me. Cucumbers stewed in sour cream. Cucumbers??? and simmer??? This is totally new for me. Well, if there is a recipe, why not try?... Googled for more inspiration and it turns out that the Germans like cucumbers is very popular. For this dish even sell special cucumbers - Schmorgurken.

Cooking
Cucumber peel, cut into slices.
3 tablespoons of olive oil heated in a frying pan. Finely chop the onion. Fry gently, stirring for a minute or two.
Cucumbers put in sauce pan and stir, fry for 5 minutes.
In another pan or skillet heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil. Add turmeric, flour. Stir to avoid lumps. Then add sour cream and stir, keep on low heat for a minute.
Cucumbers salt, pepper, add sour cream. (At this stage I added more cream because the sauce was very thick, the original recipe of the cream was not)
Carefully mix everything and simmer on very low heat, covered for 20 minutes. At the end sprinkle with dill.
Let stand 10 minutes. Serve hot.
