Semifreddo
Semifreddo is a traditional Italian dessert: homemade soft ice cream with different toppings - cookies, nuts, candies, chocolate, among the mandatory ingredients are raw eggs and heavy cream. I want to offer one of the options of this great dessert without using eggs. Semifreddo turns out creamy, sweet and berry. Berries you can use any, including frozen. In addition, it is a surefire way to impress guests! Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Ricotta

    250 g

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Candied

    30 g

  • Dark chocolate

    30 g

  • Nuts

    50 g

  • Cream

    100 ml

  • Mint

    1 piece

  • Berry

    300 g

  • Sugar

    150 g

  • Lemon

    1 piece

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

In a bowl add powdered sugar and ricotta. Mix until a homogeneous mass.

Candied fruit, finely chop.

Grind nuts not very finely. To enhance the taste, you can pre-fry them on a dry pan.

Chocolate grind.

Cream whisk. To the cheese mass, add whipped cream, candied fruit, nuts, chocolate. Mix well.

A suitable form to cover with cling film and put the cheese mass, making sure not to leave voids. Put into the freezer for 20-30 minutes.

To make the sauce. In a blender place the berries (several pieces leave for decoration), sugar and lemon juice and beat until smooth. Before serving, remove the Semifreddo from the mould, pour over sauce and decorate with berries and mint. Bon appetit!
