Strudel with pear and Apple
Me again about the lack of time during the holidays. After the savoury snail offered to bake a quick strudel. Instead of breadcrumbs, which are usually added into the filling, I used a crumbly couscous.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry

    250 g

  • Pear

    1 piece

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Couscous

    2 Tbsp

  • Cranberries

    1 handful

  • Walnuts

    1 handful

  • Brown sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Nutmeg

    2 pinch

  • Water

    50 ml

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Sesame

    1 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pinch

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Powdered sugar

Cooking

Pour 30 g of couscous from the "Mistral" in a small Cup or bowl.

Pour boiling water, cover for 5 minutes.

Apples and pear clean from the middle of it.

Cut into pieces.

After 5 minutes the couscous to open and loosen with a fork.

Pour to it the fruit.

Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

A handful of cranberries.

Mix well.

To unfreeze the puff pastry.

Roll out in rectangular layer.

In the microwave melt a stick of butter and place it on top of the dough, excluding the edges.

Put the stuffing.

A handful of nuts chopped.

To sprinkle on top.

Rolled into a roll.

Tuck the edges and prick top with a fork.

Can bake on a baking sheet on parchment, but I moved the loaf to a form of "brick"size of 27 cm by 9 cm.

Lubricate the top and sides with egg yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

And a little sugar.

Bake in a preheated 180* oven for 25 minutes. Allow to cool in the form. There are already cooled.

The strudel was a very delicious caramel crust.

Slice the strudel into portions.
