Description

Pork ribs
In this dish you will find a fantastic combination of flavors. Ribs baked in a sauce based on coconut milk with spices. The sweet taste comes to a sharp, searing. The ribs and sauce can be prepared the day before and then just quickly bake them in the oven or on the grill. As a bonus we will prepare a delicious refreshing drink based on Apple juice and cloves.

Cooking

step-0
Pork ribs dipped in salted boiling water and cook for 30 minutes. Onions and garlic peel and finely chop.
step-1
If you use anise, cinnamon, cloves, fennel and pepper in the powdered form, just mix them. If, like me, you use the seeds, heat them a few minutes in a hot pan to release the aroma. Then grind in a mortar.
step-2
Onion, garlic and ginger and fry in sunflower oil for 3-5 minutes until soft.
step-3
Then add the mixture of spices, honey, tomato paste and Kikkoman soy sauce. Pour in the coconut milk, bring to the boil and remove from heat.
step-4
Boiled ribs, rinse with cold water and dry on paper towels. Lubricate sauce.
step-5
Bake on the grill for 20-30 minutes at 200 degrees. For grilling, of course, it will take a little less time.
step-6
Drink mix sugar, cloves, star anise and ribbons peel cover with water. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Adjust amount of sugar according to your taste. It can and does not put.
step-7
Strain, cool. Then add the lemon juice and Apple juice. Serve with ice.
step-8
Bon appetit.
