Salad
Very simple, quick to prepare but very delicious salad with an Oriental touch. Tangy, spicy - it will help "refresh" of both casual and fast table.

Ingredients

  • Red onion

    1 piece

  • Ginger

    1 piece

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Cucumber

    4 piece

  • Sesame

    1 Tbsp

  • Cilantro

    3 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    3 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    2 tsp

  • Sunflower oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Sesame

    2 tsp

To make the dressing. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, sunflower oil and roasted on a dry pan sesame seeds.

Peel the onion and cut into thin half-rings. Pour dressing, mix and leave to marinate at least 1 hour.

Cucumbers peel and cut in half lengthwise. Then slice diagonally into thin strips.

Garlic and ginger peel. Mix with the salt and grind in a mortar or blender. Add to the cucumbers.

To the vegetables add the onion with dressing, roasted sesame seeds and chopped cilantro (I don't really like the specific taste of cilantro, so I substituted for dill). Mix thoroughly and let stand for 10 minutes. Before serving, mix again.
