Description

Cretan meat pie
This cake is one of the most frequent and familiar holiday foods in West Crete, the largest Greek island. It's incredibly tasty, quite simple to prepare. For lack of a suitable feta cheese, or homemade cheese, you want to salt harder, or plain cottage cheese, not fat free. And, of course, olive oil can successfully replace vegetable. The taste is a bit affected, but it will be delicious. Recipe from the book Myrsini labraki the "Cretan cuisine for everyone." Help yourself!
