For the first time in my life baked a cake for mommy's birthday. Long picked up the recipe in the Internet, including on our wonderful site. Got some ideas from different recipes, something she thought, was such a magical cake, moderately sweet. Of course, without a couple of blunders not done (of which I will indicate as tips on how NOT to do).

So, in short: I heated (but not boiling) 1 liter of cream. Added a little lemon juice and warmed it on low heat for 10 minutes. Then wrapped in a linen cloth and left to otvisetsya until morning.

Cooked brandy syrup: water and half a Cup of sugar brought to a boil, cooled to 36-37°C and poured brandy. Soaked cakes and brandy syrup. Nonetheless, the cake turned out very tasty and tender. So, I beg you not to judge strictly, after all this is my first experience in cooking cakes. Personally, I can consider it successful. The cake was eaten in 2 days, which is very unusual for our family, where everyone is afraid to spoil the figure.
