Lean Apple strudel
This is a very tasty, almost classic Apple strudel with nuts, raisins and spices, suitable for those fasting.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Water

    150 ml

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Apple

    4 piece

  • Raisins

    100 g

  • Sugar

    60 g

  • Walnuts

    0.5 cup

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    0.5 piece

  • Powdered sugar

    0.5 cup

Cooking

The flour 2 times to sift that it was enriched with oxygen. Boil water and cool slightly (so that the hand was not hot).

Flour mixed with warm water and salt, gradually pour in the olive oil and knead soft, slightly sticky dough. Cover the dough with cling film and leave to stand for 1 hour.

Apples peel and grate (can be cut into thin slices-as you like). Raisins pour hot water for 5 minutes to dry out. Nuts are finely chopped.

Apples and raisins mix, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle with lemon juice and let stand until the sugar is dissolved.

With a clean kitchen towel liberally sprinkle with flour, put on it the dough and not too thin to roll it into a rectangle. Then use your hands to pull the dough in a circle until then, until it becomes transparent as tissue paper.

The dough is very elastic and easily stretched.

With a towel rolled into a roll. Gently place the roll on a baking sheet.

Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes until Golden brown.

A pleasant smell of baking cinnamon at this time, gathers the household.

The finished strudel sprinkle with powdered sugar, garnish with berries, jam, a sprig of mint. For not fasting are advised to try the combination of hot fresh strudel and a ball of ice cream. The idea gathered for a family wedding in the Czech Republic. BON APPETIT!!!
