Mozzarella with salad of peppers and pesto
I continue to study Italian cuisine and thank "cook" in Italian competitions. My first recipe of a series of appetizers, which are always quick to prepare: for her family, and festive table looks bright and positive.. however, like all of Italian cuisine.

Ingredients

  • Pepper

  • Red onion

  • Vinegar

    4 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    200 ml

  • Salt

  • Allspice

  • Mozzarella

  • Yogurt

    100 g

  • Pine nuts

    30 g

  • Parmesan

    40 g

  • Garlic

  • Basil

    2 coup

  • Milk

    3 Tbsp

Clean the pepper and onion. Cut into very small cubes. Mix both mixtures and fill with vinegar and oil, season with salt and ground pepper.

For the sauce Basil pesto can be used ready. I made it myself, because the fresh Basil I have growing on the window. Pine nuts fry in a pan without fat until Golden brown. Finely grate the Parmesan. Chop coarsely the garlic. Basil leaves detach from the stems and chop coarsely.

Olive oil and other ingredients to put in a container and grind.

Season with salt and pepper, add the yogurt and milk and all beat well again. Ready pesto sauce can be stored in airtight jars in the refrigerator up to 5 days or in the freezer.

Left to cut the mozzarella into thin slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

And serve: on a white mozzarella to put a red salad and water next to the green sauce. Get all the colors of the Italian :-) however, as Belarus (where I'm from) and as Hungarian, where I live now. Decorate with a few Basil leaves. By the way, this snack is very good baguette.
