Sweet bread with cherries
Autumn came... and even in Sunny days you want to gather around a warm family table, drink a warming Cup of tea. And in addition: attractive aroma of muffins, tender, almost weightless crumb, sour cherry. Recipe taken from the book "Homemade bread and cakes from all over the world"

Ingredients

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Water

    0.75 cup

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Flour

    450 g

  • Chicken egg

  • Salt

In 1/4 Cup warm water or milk dissolve yeast, add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar, leave for 10-15 minutes in a warm place until the appearance of the foam caps.

The flour with salt sift slide in a bowl, top make a hole, add remaining sugar, softened butter and lightly beaten eggs, pour the yeast and add half the remaining water, stir with a wooden spoon. Flour is all different, if necessary, if the dough is too tough, add water. Knead a soft dough. Knead until it starts to lag behind the hands and walls of the cookware.

Dried cherries or cranberries rinsed in warm water, dry well, cut into small pieces, mix into the dough. Roll the dough into a ball, brush with a small amount of vegetable oil and leave in a warm place for 1-2 hours, so it increased in volume by 2 times. After the punch down and allow to rise again.

Molded from the dough to 2 oval loaf and make arbitrary cuts. I liked in the form of a sheet. Spread on a greased baking sheet, cover with a clean towel and leave for proofing for 15-20 minutes.
