Puff pastry for the cake
If you prepared the dough in the evening to cook something the next day, it is better to put it in a plastic bag in the fridge. If the dough will not need long time to freeze, put in the package! It defrosts quickly - within 1.5-2 hours and retains all its properties. (For the recipe thank Snowflake Tatiana).

Ingredients

Prepare the dough first No. 1. To do this, chop the chilled margarine together with the flour into fine crumbs.

In a Cup beat the egg, pour water into it. Beat lightly with a fork so the egg is mixed with water, and pour in the flour.

Knead well the dough, first with a spoon and then with hand on floured surface. As necessary add the flour! This dough in any case should not be steep, otherwise this will result in a hard puff pastry!

Now 2 roll out the dough into a small rectangle. Not thin, otherwise the dough will break!

It put the first dough closer to one edge in the middle, so to be able to wrap his envelope.

Thus prepared dough is put in a bowl, sprinkled with flour, and put into the fridge for 30 minutes. Put the dough seam side down, to better secure the region. When you send the dough in the fridge, no cover, otherwise droplets are formed, and the dough will be wet, we don't need!

After 30 minutes take the dough out of the fridge, put on the roll surface in the same way as it lay on the plate and roll out with a rolling pin, not much, so to be able to re-roll envelope.

Turn again and put into the fridge for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes take the dough. Roll out on floured surface and again wrap envelope. Put into the fridge for 30 minutes. Now our dough is ready. You can cook from it immediately.

Divide the dough into 16 equal parts, roll out and bake cakes.
