Irish Apple pie
I suggest you try the traditional Irish Apple pie. The Irish usually I cook this cake for St. Patrick's day. Very tasty, juicy, tender, light cake a lovely addition to a Cup of coffee for Breakfast or as a dessert. It can be served as hot or cold. Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    3 cup

  • Sugar

    0.75 cup

  • Butter

    240 g

  • Milk

    0.75 cup

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Apple

    4 piece

  • Leavening agent

    2 tsp

  • Salt

    0.125 tsp

  • Carnation

    0.25 tsp

  • Nutmeg

    0.25 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Cardamom

    0.25 tsp

Cooking

Heat the oven to 175 C (350F) in the form for baking diameter 23-24cm greased with butter and sprinkle with flour.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom.

Add the butter, cut into small pieces and grind with hands until it's fine crumbs.

Then add the sugar and stir.

Apples peel, remove the core and cut into small pieces.

Mix apples and crumb.

Eggs milk and a good beat with a mixer

Add to Apple mixture and quickly stir.

The cooked dough is passed in a form that even out the surface of the cake and sprinkle the top with 2 tbsp sugar.

Bake for 50-60 minutes.

Then take it out and allow to cool a little.
