Chicken salad with celery
Salad recipe taken by me in 2001 from the book "Favorite salad", the author of the book A. hours. Since this salad is very fond of, and I occasionally cook. However, with some deviations from the recipe from the book. The original recipe says that the salad can be prepared with any poultry. But it is more fond of it with chicken. I much reduced the ingredients of the salad - the original salad should be lettuce, capers and onions. And to refuel salad author needs a dressing of the yolks with mustard, vinegar, vegetable oil and spices. My home is more to your taste when seasoned simply with mayonnaise. In any case, the salad is very tasty! I recommend to try! And to add capers, lettuce and onion, and how to fill - decide for yourself. I further write as I do.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet

    600 g

  • Celery root

    1 piece

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Mayonnaise

    200 g

Boil chicken and remove bones. Can be used as a breast and other chicken parts

Pepper wash, peel from the seeds. Celery root wash and peel. (Remember that forgot to take a picture when you already lost half of the celery, so the photo is only the half)

Pepper cut into cubes

Celery grate on a coarse grater

To combine the chicken, pepper and celery. To taste salt (I do not salt at all), add to taste ground black pepper (the last time I tasted and added lemon pepper Kamis). And season to taste with mayonnaise.
