Description

Shortcrust cake with chocolate mousse and figs
In the cake I used as cream chocolate mousse powder. Cooked it according to the instructions, it came out watery like cream, but in combination with the shortbread crust turned out pretty good. I dry figs soaked in liquor, cut them up and added the cream to the exotic. I want to welcome this cake my friend Mary, who today registered in the cook.

Cooking

step-0
The powder chocolate mousse is not known to me, according to instructions, it should be diluted with cold milk and beat with a mixer until thick, which I did.
step-1
For the dough: beat eggs with sugar, add softened butter, beat, add juice and zest of lemon.
step-2
Add flour with baking powder, knead sticky dough.
step-3
In the finished dough add a handful of hazelnuts (preferably little grind, turned out to be too large).
step-4
The dough is spread on baking paper and bake for 30 minutes, to leave the next day.
step-5
To prepare the mousse according to the instructions. It turned out watery mass.
step-6
The next day I cut the cake along the (slightly disturbing whole kernels), laid the Foundation in a tray with sides, pour 2/3 of the mousse, added the chopped figs, covered the second half of the cake, greased the top of the rest of the mousse and began to shape the cake. For the topping left a lot of crumbs, so I separated the liquid mousse from the sides, falling asleep baby. I made waffles, coconut flakes, ground nuts. The crumb has absorbed moisture and the cake has acquired the form. The top is decorated with melted chocolate c slices almonds.
step-7
Over night in the fridge the cake was appreciated, I got a good cut, the cut appeared liquid mousse, but it is regarded as the virtue of the cake.
