Tartiflette
Tartiflette. A traditional dish of French cuisine. Served usually in the winter, especially often found in restaurants in ski resorts. If You want to stay warm in cold weather, prepare this hearty dish of potatoes, and You will not be disappointed. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in 2008 by user Inessa called "Tartiflette" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Cooking

step-0
Peel the potatoes, wash.
step-1
Cut into 3 pieces, cover with cold water, add salt to taste and put on fire. Cook until tender.
step-2
When the potato is ready, drain the water, set aside to cool down.
step-3
Onion cut into half rings. Fry in a pan until soft in small amount of vegetable oil.
step-4
Then to the onions add the chopped bacon (or ham). Fry together for a couple of minutes.
step-5
Take a dish suitable for the oven. You can take one large dish or, like me, to take portions molds. Grease them with butter.
step-6
Cut the potatoes into small slices, put half on the bottom of the form.
step-7
The layer of potatoes put half of the mixture of bacon and onions.
step-8
Then put the second layer of potatoes and bacon with onions.
step-9
Pour potatoes and cream (or sour cream diluted with water).
step-10
And now the fun: the essential ingredient of this dish is the Reblochon cheese (reblochon) is a French soft cheese made from unpasteurized cow's milk from the French region of Savoie. The taste of this cheese is very soft, creamy. If You don't have cheese, it is possible to replace the cheese is Camembert, but the taste is much more pronounced. Alternatively, you can use any other soft cheese like this.
step-11
Cheese slice lengthwise, as pictured. (I cut into quarters, as did a La carte. If You are preparing one common dish, the cheese should not be cut into pieces and immediately cut along).
step-12
Lay the cheese on the potatoes crust up.
step-13
Preheat the oven to 230 degrees, to put our dish. And cook about 10-15 minutes until Golden brown cheese. Cheese is melted and crust is Golden brown. Serve hot. Bon appetit!!!
