Jambalaya with wild rice
The main ingredient of jambalaya - Fig. Or as they say in Louisiana "dirty rice" - that is remaining from a previous meal of boiled rice, which is fried, and then stewed in broth with other ingredients. Residents of Louisiana argue that the jambalaya is prepared with wild rice and all the rest, that is what is currently in the house. It's still an exaggeration: in the jambalaya almost always add so-called "kardonsky Trinity": onions, petiolate celery and sweet pepper. And everything else - really, at your discretion.
