I spread the salad on the leaves of oakleaf lettuce. At a more benign version of the salad, the leaves can be cut directly into the salad.
Finely chop the red onion. One can of beans will need about half a small bulb. Pour onion soy sauce and leave to marinate.
To open a can of red beans and drain the liquid. Put in a salad bowl beans, chopped jalapenos and onion together with soy sauce. Add mayonnaise and mix well. If you have time to spare, it is best to give the salad a little brew.
Spread the salad on the leaves. Bon appetit!!!
Or, for a milder flavor, chop the lettuce in a salad bowl. Bon appetit!!!
