My favorite Portuguese dish! The Portuguese are big fans of cod, they have this love even stronger than the Ukrainians to fat, there are hundreds of recipes for this fish, but cod eat specially processed dried with salt and then soaked for two days. Doubted whether to put this recipe, because it is made from fish with such treatment, but maybe someone will like it and you can try with fresh fish, it's really very tasty.

Cooking
Fish boil in salted water, remove bones and skin,broth save. I bought already cleaned, soaked and frozen cod.
Peel the potatoes and finely crumble, fry in a large amount of vegetable oil until tender

in olive oil sauté the onions and garlic
add cod and simmer for another minute, pour the potatoes
prepare Bechamel sauce: in a pan melt the butter, add the flour, begin little by little pour in the milk, stir to avoid lumps, pour 200 ml of broth of fish and cook on low heat until thick
mix the sauce with the fish and potatoes, add the cream, salt and pepper and spread in a baking pan with high sides
you can put the plate of cheese, I like that better
bake it in the oven - 200 degrees, about 25 minutes
