Rye buns
Such rolls have always done my grandma. I did not dare to repeat them, although records of her recipes I have kept for a long time. Decided to try it - it worked! I suggest to you. Suitable for sandwiches, and just for dinner/ lunch/ Breakfast. Crispy crust and flavorful crumb with a subtle aftertaste of honey.

Ingredients

  • Water

    250 ml

  • Rye flour

    200 g

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Yeast

    8 g

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Honey

    1 Tbsp

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

Prepare the products. In a bowl dissolve the yeast with water, add salt, honey and vinegar (specifically Apple). Add both flours and knead the dough.

The dough was not sticky and elastic. Leave it for 40 minutes, cover it with a towel.

Divide the dough into 8 parts. To form the buns, making arbitrary incisions on top. Spread on slightly floured baking sheet.

Cover buns with a towel and let stand for 20-30 min.

Bake in a preheated 220 degree oven for 15-20 min. the First 7-10 minutes under the baking sheet supply form water, which is then removed. Take out, allow to cool.
