Simple cake without baking
Offer to prepare a quick, delicious cake without baking. It is made of Savoiardi biscuits, butter cream and almonds. Cream impregnates the sponge biscuits. The cream added a bit of cherry syrup, which gave the filling a pleasant acidity and freshness. Cream you can use any one you like and to taste (sour cream, butter with the addition of condensed milk...), try, experiment and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • Cookies

    100 g

  • Water

    100 ml

  • Sugar

    1 tsp

  • Almonds

    100 g

  • Cream

    180 ml

  • Jam

    2 tsp

  • Powdered sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Rum

    1 tsp

  • Thickener for cream

    1 pack

Prepare the syrup for impregnation of cookies. In boiling water to dissolve the sugar, add the rum. Cool.

Almonds lightly toasted in a dry frying pan, transfer to a plate to cool.

Chilled cream whip. Add sugar powder and a thickener for cream, continue to beat until stable peaks.

In cream add grated through a sieve the jam or syrup.

To drop each cookie briefly on one side in the syrup, spread on a flat plate. Spread half of the cream on the cookies.

The cream put the second row of cookies. To put the remnants of the cream, flatten, cover with the cream side.

Cake sprinkle almonds on all sides. Put into the refrigerator overnight.
