Biscuits
This crispy cookies - crackers baked in Sunny Italy. I tried it for the first time in an Italian restaurant, where it certainly is served along with a Cup of coffee. Tasty, sweet and fragrant, with lots of whole nuts - usually almonds are highly nutritious, these cookies are perfectly stored, and I do now is important. I collect a parcel average son and really hope cantucci well will take a very long journey and will please my such an independent son.

Ingredients

  • Sugar

    250 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Butter

    80 g

  • Honey

    2 Tbsp

  • Flour

    400 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Yeast

    11 g

  • Nuts

    200 g

Cooking

Carefully sift the flour. Mix flour with sugar, salt and yeast. Drive egg and start kneading the dough.

Add softened butter, vanilla sugar and honey. Knead further. Add nuts, ideally almonds, I only have peanuts. Continue to knead until the dough gather into a ball. I just upload products consistently in the bucket of the bread machine, set the Paste mode.

The dough is thick and elastic. Divide it into three or four pieces depending on the length of the baking sheet.

Roll out sausages and formed into thin loaves.

Spread on parchment and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes - to pink blush.

Remove and carefully with a sharp knife, cut the loaves into thick slices about one centimeter.

Spread cut up the back of the sheet and food processor – dry for 10 more minutes until an even Golden color.

Allow to cool on sheet, then to dry on the grid.

Serve the cookies taken with a glass of light sweet wine, into which cantucci dipped before eating.

The dried cantucci well stored in jars or boxes, without access of bright light, in a dry place.
