Description

Baked grapefruit
Frankly, after learning about this dish, I lost the rest, all the while trying to imagine the taste. I love citrus and have to say that the grapefruit in this form I tried for the first time. A brand new taste, a real discovery! It's unusual, unique, spicy, with tender and a long creamy finish... One problem: in the book this dish was in the section of snacks. I think anyone, in my opinion, this is a great light dinner or a great dessert.

Ingredients

  • Grapefruit

    1 piece

  • Brown sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Butter

    2 tsp

  • Nuts

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

step-0
This is actually the grapefruit that will tolerate all my manipulations.
step-1
Cut it in half.
step-2
Notching it around with a sharp knife around crust to release the slices, not too deep to make cuts diagonally, and rotating the knife tip to "pierce" the middle. Aesthetes can make the cloves in a circle of the fruit. The taste is not affected.
step-3
The center of each grapefruit to dump butter and spread it on top.
step-4
Sprinkle a dense layer of brown sugar. Sugar can be replaced honey.
step-5
Bake in a preheated oven at 150 degrees until Golden brown, approximately 10 minutes. Serve warm, sprinkled with the chopped nuts.
