Butterfly of chicken hearts
Very tasty, tender and gravy for side dishes.

Ingredients

  • Soy sauce

    3 Tbsp

  • Tomato paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • The pie

    500 g

  • Allspice

  • Bay leaf

  • Salt

To prepare the hearts, cleaned of films, blood clots and tubes. Rinse

Cut hearts in half lengthwise (but not completely), to deploy and to make lateral incisions to make "butterfly". When frying they will reveal stronger.

Fry in vegetable oil (just so the color has changed), add the soy sauce and, if necessary, salt and pepper

Onions cut is not very finely (I chopped in 2 pieces and halves for three further strips) and fry in vegetable oil

Add to the onions carrots, grated on a coarse grater, and tomato. Stir, saute for another 3 minutes and add water.

Add to the pot of hearts, vegetables, add water so it covers all. If necessary add salt. Throw a Bay leaf and a few peas of fragrant pepper. Simmer under a lid for 20-25 minutes. Place on a plate hearts and pour the gravy from the vegetables and tomato. These are the "butterflies" are ready
