Salad with crab sticks, apples and ricotta
Fresh salad in the French style with an Italian touch of ricotta. This appetizer seems to me perfect, served on a light Breakfast or as a compliment from the chef, a warm and Sunny morning, somewhere on the terrace of the Marriott hotel. However, to try this appetizer, it is not necessary to go somewhere, because its preparation requires a simple set of products and 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Crab sticks

    6 piece

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Ricotta

    200 g

  • Green onions

    1 coup

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Olive oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

To prepare the products. Wash the apples and lemon, rinse with cold water onion. Crab sticks freeze, or use frozen.

Remove lemon zest, green onions finely chop.

To prepare the salad dressing: vigorously mix the olive oil with the juice of half a lemon.

Soften the ricotta, add the chopped onions, lemon zest, salt and pepper to taste, a teaspoon of prepared filling slightly to mix.

Crab sticks to grate. This technique will help to make sticks similar to the crab, not only in taste but also in consistency, because this crab meat has a delicate fibrous structure.

Apple cut into thin slices. Drizzle with juice of the second lemon half to prevent darkening.

To assemble the salad: in a La carte dishes to put some of the prepared ricotta, it lay Apple slices on top and generously add grated crab sticks. Add the prepared dressing, pouring a thin trickle. Decorate with Apple slices and green onions.

Serve the salad immediately after cooking. Shrimp give this salad a sweet flavor, along with the ricotta, they make a nice taste and texture tandem, and Apple, being the only solid components, gives taste, makes a variety of best accentuates the taste of other ingredients.
