Puff snails with orange sugar
To tea, especially in winter, you need something very invigorating, warming and fragrant. Well, ran to the store for puff pastry ;), and create something invigorating and warming.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry

    1 kg

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Orange zest

    2 Tbsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Cardamom

    0.5 tsp

Cooking

Butter to melt. Oranges are thoroughly washed with hot water, dry and remove the zest using a fine grater.

Mix the sugar, zest, cinnamon and cardamom, eventually get orange sugar.

If the puff pastry in one piece, roll out to a thickness of 2-3mm. I Have the dough already rolled out in the form. The rolled out layer of dough to grease with melted butter and spread on top (the sugar is wet, so spread) orange sugar. A layer of dough cut into strips, with a width of 1cm.

The snail is laid on a baking sheet, oiled or covered with a Teflon Mat. In the middle of each snail to pour 0.5 tsp. of butter and pour 0.5 tsp. of orange sugar.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes (until it will turn brown).
