Description
Warm summer evening... barely audible snuffle samovar, and hovers around a wonderful aroma of fresh baking! Tired after gardening my household comfortably seated at a round table and much discussion of the work done for the day. Cooking
We will need the following products.
In bowl combine 1 Cup flour, sugar and cinnamon, mix well.
Milk bring to a boil, pour into a granular mixture and quickly stir to avoid lumps. Add the vegetable oil and applesauce, mix well. Cool.
Until the mixture cools, about 10-15 minutes, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare a baking tray with baking paper. Separate the white from the yolk and put it in the fridge. To the cooled mixture add the egg and yolk, vanilla and mix well. Add the remaining flour mixed with baking powder. Be sure to sift the flour. Knead the dough. Only for gingerbread it took me 6 cups of flour. But it depends on the size of the eggs, if the eggs are large, the flour may need a little more. So – the dough should be soft, elastic and should not stick to hands. Yes, I have a glass of 200-gram. Them I measure out the milk and flour.
Divide the dough into 2 parts, so it will be easier to roll out. Let's see what it's breathable, porous!
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.7 – 0.8 cm, cut glass circles.
Spread on a baking sheet, place in oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Prepare frosting: mix cocoa and sifted powdered sugar, add protein and water, mix well. If the protein from large eggs, then, maybe, water need will be less. The glaze should not be thick, but not too runny.
The cooled gingerbread and spread with glaze and let it dry, and dries it long.
In this photo the icing is still wet.
And there is already dried up. Delicious gingerbread, the taste of childhood!
Oh, I forgot to say - mashed potatoes I was ready. Harvested last year from apples grown in his garden. Here is my blooming garden!
