Hake in sweet and sour sauce with pickles
Thawed hake. And he was too old... Just to fry - I think it was not. So I had to write. And as usual with salty cucumbers! Very tasty both hot or cold!

Ingredients

  • Pickled cucumber

  • Soy sauce

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

Thawed hake. If necessary, peel and cut it into pieces of medium size.

Fry each slice in a skillet until Golden brown. While fried fish, prepare the sauce. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Onions and cucumbers cut into small pieces. Fry the onion, carrot and cucumber in the pan for 10 minutes, until soft. At the end of cooking add the tomato paste and sugar.

The fish put in a bowl with a thick bottom, put on her browned vegetables, pour soy sauce and water or stock, where-0.5 cups (or to taste). Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
