Mackerel Plaka in the Cretan
In General, it mackerel in Crete is not met, another fish ate the Plaka. But mackerel is so delicious fish and cooked this way, it is simply a divine treat.   • Mackerel

  • Black pepper

Fish ( this can be any sea fish like sea bass, I often make a mackerel), cleaned, gut it, pull out the gills, or beheaded at will.

Chop onion small, tomato cut into cubes, add the oregano and Basil (if fresh Basil chopped). Crush the garlic.

In a deep pan pour olive oil ( generally oil need more, a tea Cup, but it's expensive), add tomatoes, onion, Basil, oregano, mix well. Bake vegetables in the oven at 160 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

In thickened sauce add the garlic, salt and pepper, stir, put the fish to the sauce was and the top and bottom of the fish. On top of a little drizzle with more olive oil and bake at 200 degrees for 40 minutes.
