Cooking

step-0
The cake itself is pretty quick and easy, but if you want to bake all of a sudden, then You will not succeed, as the filling need to worry for the day, of course, if you are lucky that Greek yogurt can buy safely in the store. I do not belong to such, so let's start with making yogurt. On the website there is already one recipe for this product. But I have some differences, and for the convenience of users a little again. So, prepare Greek yoghurt made of baked milk. For that we will use, actually, the milk and starter yogurt. I use dry yeast, which are sold in shops of baby food or at the pharmacy, but you can use ready-made natural yogurt or liquid yeast (in the supermarket it is sold in the same place and drinking yoghurt) - this preparation is described by cook the Coil, and the recipe attached to this.
step-1
Milk to warm up to room temperature, pour it into the fermenter and stir well. I cook in the yogurt maker, and I also have small cups and a big bowl, that's it, I have used - I give her my milk mixture.
step-2
Close the lid and loaded into the yogurt maker. All for 8 hours, you can forget about him.
step-3
After 8 hours (I usually put on the night and in the morning all ready) take out the finished yogurt and put in the fridge for a couple of hours to stop the fermentation process. Even after 2 hours the yogurt is ready. For beginners in this case will clarify the yogurt may seem you are already quite thick, but do not be deluded, its structure is still very unstable, and the slightest mechanical impact (to shift into another bowl or stir) it will be almost drinkable.
step-4
Is it already possible and necessary:), but we have a different goal, therefore, continue. Spread the yogurt on folded in 4 layers cheesecloth or natural cloth and hung to drain the whey. I have built such a structure. Leave still for 2-3 hours.
step-5
After 3 hours, our Greek yogurt is ready. I admit that my pie would never be in the plans, since, after testing the result, I had the idea to take a great big spoon and eat it all, but I do not belong to the zealous fans of dairy products. But with will power and took himself in hand, continued.
step-6
All the preparatory stage is finished, you can do pie. Minced knead the dough. This oil is to RUB on a large grater, mix it with flour and sugar. I did combine, but you can easily do by hand. Add the egg and a couple tablespoons of milk. Knead the dough.
step-7
Place it in a shape (forming the sides) and let cool for 20-25 minutes in the freezer.
step-8
After the allotted time, get the form from the freezer, quite often pinned the dough with a fork and put to bake (without shipping) for 20 minutes at a temperature of 160 degrees.
step-9
And while the cake is baked, prepare a filling. Yoghurt, lightly beat or stir well to smooth. Importantly, it has been smooth and without lumps. The photo shows the result before and after mixing. For me it was the most time consuming part of the process.
step-10
Separately mix yolks with sugar and vanilla (pods I had, and I added the vanilla at the tip of a knife). Egg mixture mix with yogurt and toppings ready.
step-11
Pour the filling directly into the hot crust and put in oven for 40 minutes (the recipe was 25, but I've by this time the filling had just began to rise, so be guided by his oven).
step-12
The filling should all rise (after switching off the oven it will settle) and reddening.
step-13
Ready pie to cool. Served best with berries, but can do without them.
step-14
Turned out very tender cake with a creamy taste and vanilla aroma.
