Cooking
The meat is cut into serving-size pieces, slightly repel, cut onions half rings.
Prepare the marinade: mix mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper. Here I made the first deviation from the original recipe: instead of prepared mustard put a few tablespoons of dry because ready was not available.
The meat is then put in marinade and stir.
Put in a saucepan layers of meat alternating with onions. Leave for the night. My meat stood for almost a day.
After the meat settle, quickly fry it on a hot pan on both sides.
The meat is then folded into a saucepan, add pickled onions and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Here I allowed myself to make a second deviation from the recipe. Somehow the idea of stewing meat I was not very liked, and I decided to bake it in the oven. In pots that have been collecting dust on the shelf, and was not even tested to work. So, take the pot, on the bottom put some onions
Top the meat again to cover the layer of onions
Bake in a heated to 200 degrees oven for 40 - 45 minutes.
While the meat cooked, the enticing aroma wafting through the entire apartment. The smell and the taste of this dish reminded skewers, and I thought it was similar to the dish called "French Meat". But despite the "differences", we were satisfied.
