Know! Know! Now many will say that Koktal smoked in Kartalinia. But this fish can be cooked in the oven, it will, of course, differ in taste from the smoke house, but for home cooking is fine. Well we really liked this fish!!!

Cooking
The fish cut is not as usual - on the belly and on the back, including the head. Peel, wash, remove the gills. Make cross cuts. Salt, pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice and leave for an hour alone.
After an hour spread our fish with mayonnaise. Across the surface put the onion rings, just add salt. On top of the onions put the tomato slices, also a little add salt.
All this beauty mayonnaise and put into the oven to simmer for approximately 1.5 hours at 160-170 deg. (but watch to not burnt, if that make gas less, so the fish languished).
You can sprinkle cheese (I sprinkled). Can be as close to Smoking, add the liquid smoke (I didn't put). You can, of course, and experiment, but I assure you - the fish turned out AMAZING!!! Eat! Delicious!
