I suggest you to try delicious, healthy and flavorful salad of wild rice. Contrary to mass belief, wild rice is irrelevant to the simple, traditional rice. The black seeds of this herb are the seeds of zizania, whose plume is North America. Since ancient times the Indians of this region seeds zizanie had eaten. In the winter, when hunting was difficult, zizania became the main source of sustenance for the Indian tribes. Wild rice has a unique, exotic taste, which mixed together the nuts and the sweetness of sugar. The only downside of this culture, I guess you can call it expensive, however as any other exotic of the product.

Cooking
Rice can be prepared in advance. In a deep pan (I used a wok) put 2 tablespoons of oil, pour 3 cups of water and bring to boil. Put 1 Cup wild rice and cook with the lid closed, 55-60 minutes.
Raisins soaked in tea with bergamot. Dried apricots cut into long strips. Onion cut into rings.
In a deep pan heat olive oil, fry the onion, add the apricots and fry for 1-2 minutes.
In another pan fry a handful of pine nuts.
To the onions with the dried apricots add pine nuts and rice. Squeeze the raisins and add. Mix everything together and fry for 1-2 minutes.
Season with olive oil. Salt to taste.
