Beef in sauce Caxton
Dear cooks! Put up for your consideration a gorgeous dish of Ossetian cuisine- "Beef in sauce nahton". With a rich taste, juicy, melting... and at the same time, very satisfying. This man's dish, although we both had loved it instantly (even warm).

Ingredients

  • Beef

    600 g

  • Sour cream

    200 g

  • Cilantro

    1 coup

  • Parsley

    1 coup

  • Dill

    1 coup

  • Garlic

    4 tooth

  • Adjika

    1 tsp

  • Utsho-suneli

    1 tsp

  • Salt

Beef boiled without salt and spices. When it is slightly cooled, begin to cut it across the grain (as in befstroganov). Somewhere in half an inch thick.

Then cut into stripes. In General, each block (rim) would be about 4 cm in length. Allow it to cool down.

Now the sauce: finely, finely chop greens, garlic - squeezing.

Herbs, garlic, spices, salt, pounded in a mortar to obtain a green slurry. Can and blender (I have not), but in the recipe it was said that if a blender, then salt then add. Don't know why.

Once the beef has cooled, sprinkle it with salt ( to how much), mix with sauce and serve. Generally, the dish is supposed to stand for several hours. In the original it is generally served cold. We were hungry and did not wait, then, when the meat has rested, it became even tastier. And so: voila! Bon appetit!
