Basil salt
A good alternative to dried Basilica, ideal for preparing first and second courses, salads and bread with herbs.

Ingredients

  • Basil

    5 sprig

  • Salt

    100 g

Basil rinse, blot excess moisture, chop. Place in the bowl of a blender along with salt.

Grind at high speed for 3-4 minutes. The salt should completely mix with Basil and become bright green. It is best to mix in a blender with a small bowl because the source of the products a bit.

Make any convenient container with baking paper, spread salt in a thin layer of smooth and cover with a clean towel. Allow to completely dry for 4-6 hours ( drying time depends on humidity and ambient temperature ). In the process of drying salt will get lighter.

To shift completely dried salt in a jar and use as directed. Can be stored for 6 months.
