Traditional cabbage with peas is one of those foods which gradually recede into history. Seems more recently, our grandmothers and parents could not imagine life without this hearty and unpretentious cuisine.

Cooking
Peas pour boiling water, add the Bay leaf and leave for 1 hour. After put on fire, add water and boil until soft. Squeeze the cabbage, rinse with water, squeeze again and slice. Pour hot water (about 500 ml) and cook on a slow fire until soft.
Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until Golden brown. Hot cabbage, add boiled peas and onion together with the oil, where it fried. Add salt and pepper to taste, boil for a few minutes. If cabbage is not very sour, add the previously squeezed the juice from the cabbage.
