Rice
I suggest to try another option in a familiar design. Rice "crown" with pumpkin and meatballs. I think this giving of the usual casserole deserves a festive table! For the recipe thank you Irina Proshunina.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin

  • Minced meat

    400 g

Wholegrain rice pour three cups of water and boil until fully cooked. In the end, add a couple tablespoons of butter.

Pumpkin cut in half. We will need half of a small pumpkin. To remove the peel and remove the seeds.

Cut the pumpkin thin slices 3-4 mm thick.

Melt the butter. Slightly, with the two sides fry the pumpkin, a bit of her prisalivaya. All fried plates to shift on the plate.

Now for the meat. Season the mince with salt and pepper, add thyme and mix.

Divide the stuffing: 1/3 fry in a pan and mix with rice and cheese. I also added some chopped, sauteed pumpkin.

In shape with a hole in the middle to put the pumpkin plates close to each other (even a little bit stepping on each other).

Sprinkle the rice with minced meat and lightly compacted. Form rice put bake in a preheated oven to 200 gr. for 20 minutes.

While the rice stuffing in the oven, prepare the meatballs. Of the remaining 2/3 of minced meat formed into small balls with walnut and fry them in butter until done on all sides.

Ready rice "crown" to turn on a serving dish. In the center of it to put the meatballs, bring to the table. Nice!!
