Description

Oatmeal-cranberry jelly
Very useful and very tasty jelly. With the juice you can eat it for dessert, you can use as a sauce for pancakes and semolina porridge can be useful to Breakfast. Without adding juice can be eaten cold, as porridge is hot oil. The site already has recipes oatmeal jelly, but I will allow myself to recall it again, it's worth it.

Cooking

step-0
Actually jelly of oat concentrate is prepared very quickly, no more than 15 minutes, but first prepare the oatmeal concentrate. Oatmeal concentrate is a wonderful product that can be stored in the refrigerator and use as needed. It turns out amazing milk pudding for Breakfast, very tasty and dietary. So, we will need oat flakes "Hercules" - the most simple, the cheapest, large; a piece of rye bread and a Cup of plain yogurt.
step-1
Pour a pack of oatmeal (500 g) in a saucepan, fill with water (1.5 l), add the yogurt, stir. Yogurt can be replaced with yogurt.
step-2
Put the top piece of rye bread and leave to warm at least a day. You can attach the pot near the radiator. Fasting yogurt should be deleted.
step-3
Through the day (or later) Hercules fermented, appear small bubbles. For more than two days to wait is not necessary. Take out the bread. Weight without fanaticism, wipe through a sieve in a separate container. This is perhaps the most time-consuming part of the process. You can just drain the liquid with oatmeal, but easy (!) wiping makes the concentrate more dense. The remaining cereal emitted, and oat concentrate stored in the refrigerator.
step-4
To prepare the jelly can soak half a Cup of cranberry juice. For this the cranberries in a colander placed for 1 minute in a pot of boiling water, then take out the colander, mash the cranberries with a potato masher and separate the juice. The juice can be strained, but this is optional. Prepare the honey and oat concentrate.
step-5
Put on the fire a saucepan and pour a Cup of water, add 6 tablespoons of oat concentrate, while stirring bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes until thick, remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes.
step-6
Put the honey and pour in the cranberry juice, stir. Jelly is ready!
