Onion bread at home
Very flavorful, the fried onions, which is part of the bread. I always, if possible, bought this bread at the store, and now I have this wonderful recipe.

Ingredients

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    11 g

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Onion

    3 piece

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Flour

    3 cup

Cooking

Prepare the dough: for this mix the yeast and a little flour.

Pour into a deep bowl of warm milk, add salt and sugar.

The flour mixture and pour in the yeast milk mixture and mix thoroughly. Put in a warm place for 30 min.

Meanwhile, we need to fry onions. You can do this in advance, but if this was not possible, then 30 minutes should suffice.

Fry the onions until Golden, add a pinch of salt and sugar and trying to quickly cool.

Add in the sourdough fried onions, egg, sour cream and half the oil.

Here is the batter (but no flour).

Gradually add the flour and knead soft and elastic dough. In the end add the remaining oil. Leave the dough to rise for 30-40 minutes, again to press down and leave for a further 30 min. From the dough shape the product and spread on a baking sheet. Please allow the products to come 15-20 min since I have a big family, I always increase the number of ingredients in 2 times and baked 2 loaf.

On the surface of bread to make a few slits and brush with vegetable oil.

Put in preheated oven (200 degrees) for 30 minutes, remove the finished bread from the oven, cover with a towel for 1 hour.
