Cooking
Make the dough. To do this, a bunch of parsley chop finely.
In bowl mix flour, parsley and a pinch of salt. Add the butter and mash with your hands the flour mixture into fine crumbs.
One to pour 5-6 tablespoons of ice(!) water and knead the dough (it took me exactly 6 cups of water). Tighten the dough in cling film and refrigerate for an hour.
Prepare the stuffing. Beef chop quite finely. Fry in 2 tbsp butter for 5-6 minutes. To put it in a Cup.
In the same pan in the remaining 2 tbsp oil, fry the onion and carrots.
Add to the vegetables 2 tbsp curry powder.
Add the fried meat, pour 300 ml of water, bring to a boil over high heat. After boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 min.
I have no cornmeal, but I came out (forgive me the professionals :)) . I pomalaa in a coffee grinder 2 tbsp corn flour, sifted the result :) 1 tbsp corn flour, dilute with 70 ml of cold water and...
...pour this mixture in to the pan. Cook over high heat until thickened, about 2-3 min. add Salt to taste. Stir in the peas, stir and remove from heat.
Bake a cake better in glass or ceramic form. Lubricate the form of vegetable oil. Divide the dough into two unequal parts, roll out thinly - 0,3 to 0,4 mm thick. Put into a form and trim the edges. I baked it in two forms 20 and 15 cm in diameter.
The remaining roll the dough and cut into strips with a width of about 1 cm Put them out of a basket.
Bake at 200 gr. 35-40 mins on the middle shelf of the oven. The dough should be Golden and the filling is starting to boil and bubble
Let rest for 10 minutes and remove from the mold. Pie holds its shape well. The pieces do not fall apart and the stuffing is spreading. Serve with soup or just with hot tea.
